Powdery mildew is an easy diagnosis. Your plants will have dusty white powder on the leaves. Its most common in the mid and late summer as cool nights follow warm, humid days. Remove all affected leaves of the plant, and keep plants healthy with fertilizer and water. Avoid fertilizers that are high in nitrogen, as they will encourage new growth, which is more susceptible to the disease. Fungicides will effectively control infection.
