Septoria Leaf Spot
Leaves will have numerous dark spots, and appear wilted. On young fruit, white to yellow concentric rings, one-half inch in diameter, develop on the fruit skin. Usually, the center of the rings are raised, giving the fruit a bumpy appearance. Spotted wilt can be avoided by keeping gardens weed-free, as many weeds are host to the fungi. Keep your plants healthy by watering and fertilizing as needed. Also, controlling insects called thrips can help stop the spread of the disease. Once virused, there is no cure for the plant.
