If you find huge holes in your leaves (or even missing branches and fruit), look for these 3-4 inch caterpillars. You can easily pick them off by hand and dispose of them, but products like Bacillus thuringiensis (sold as Dipel or Thuricide) and many common vegetable insecticides are also effective.
