Bacterial Speck

Speck lesions on green fruit are small, sunken, black spots surrounded by darker green haloes. The longer tomato leaves remain wet after rain or watering, the more likely they are to develop a host of diseases, bacterial speck included. Letting plants dry before nightfall can help prevent the diease. Mancozeb and copper tank mixes may be applied to control the bacteria.
