The Natal plum is a semi-tropical evergreen plant bearing dark red plum-shaped fruits and small star-shaped white flowers. It is native to the Natal Province of South Africa and usually blooms in late spring through early fall. The fruits are edible! Your plum bonsai will be helped by bright indoor light and a few hours of morning or afternoon window sun.
