Also known as the Paper Flower plant from the showy colorful bracts which become papery and brittle as the color fades and the bracts age. Originally from South America, bougainvillea are subtropical plants that bear flowers in the spring and summer. It has been grown and trained for two years as a bonsai tree. The ceramic bonsai pot is 5"x7".
